We are committed to minimizing our footprint in our operations and fulfilling our social responsibility

Sustainability and social responsibility are integrated into our business. We continuously work to reduce our footprint and expect the same from our customers, suppliers, and partners. Additionally, we actively engage in selected projects that are close to our hearts and contribute to positive societal development.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals inspire and guide us in our efforts to create positive change for people, communities, and the environment. These goals provide us with a clear direction and strengthen our commitment to setting ambitious targets for a sustainable future

We are dedicated to doing our part to combat poverty and inequality and stop climate change. Through our own initiatives and expertise, we will ensure the sustainable operation of our business and help our customers achieve their sustainability goals.
ECO LIGHTHOUSE

Magnus Legal is eco lighthouse certified

The Eco Lighthouse certification is one of the most recognized certifications in Norway. It serves as a clear signal to consumers and the market that we are taking responsibility for the future of our planet.

With the UN Sustainable Development Goal number 13 as our guide, we work purposefully to maintain our Eco Lighthouse certification through concrete actions and responsibility for our own footprint. At the same time, we aim to inspire our employees, customers, and suppliers to follow the same path toward a more sustainable future.

PASSION PROJECT

Stine Sofie Stiftelsen

Inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goal number 16, we take our social responsibility seriously by being active contributors and giving back to those who need it most. Our passion project is chosen annually.

The Stine Sofie's Foundation works to ensure better legal protection for children who are exposed to criminal acts, both in criminal policy and the legal system. Most of the foundation's work is funded through donations and funds raised from individuals, businesses, foundations, and similar sources.

Magnus Legal contributes with financial support so that the Stine Sofie's Foundation can achieve its goal of ensuring that all children in Norway have a childhood free from violence and abuse.

At Magnus Legal, we believe that everyone can contribute to a more sustainable society. Our three core values serve as guiding principles in building our culture and making sound decisions about our business operations.

Our first value is service, which defines how we treat our clients and colleagues. Engagement is our next value. It is important to us to have passionate people on our team who genuinely care about what happens in society and to the people around us. Our final value is team spirit. We believe that collaboration and good teamwork are essential for achieving our goals – including in our sustainability efforts.

Based on our core values, we aim to implement systematic environmental measures in our daily operations. We will ensure that we meet requirements and implement actions to maintain environmentally friendly practices a positive work environment, and contribute to increased sustainability knowledge for our clients and employees

Our sustainable development goals

The UN Sustainable Development Goals are a shared plan to eradicate poverty, reduce inequality, and stop climate change by 2030. Of the 17 goals, we have chosen two as the foundation for strengthening our operations and environmental initiatives and making sound decisions for the future.

UN sustainable goal number 13 Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
UN sustainable goal number 16 Peace, justice, and strong institutions. This involves ensuring legal protection for children and youth and building well-functioning, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.
